Bosch Rexroth Directional Seat Valves

Bosch Rexroth directional seat valves are a type of hydraulic valve designed for controlling the flow of hydraulic fluid within industrial and mobile hydraulic systems. These valves play a crucial role in regulating the direction of fluid flow and, as a result, the operation of various hydraulic actuators, such as cylinders and motors.

Key features and characteristics of Bosch Rexroth directional seat valves include:

Directional Control: These valves are primarily used to control the direction of fluid flow within a hydraulic system. They can switch between multiple hydraulic pathways, allowing the hydraulic system to perform various functions like extending and retracting cylinders, rotating motors, and more.

Seat Valve Design: The term "seat valve" refers to the mechanism by which these valves operate. They have a moving element, known as a poppet or seat, that seals against a fixed seat to control the flow of hydraulic fluid. This design offers precise and reliable control.

Modular Construction: Many Bosch Rexroth directional seat valves are modular in design, which means they can be easily integrated into hydraulic systems with other components like pumps, cylinders, and reservoirs. This modularity allows for flexibility in system design.

High Pressure Capability: These valves are often capable of handling high-pressure hydraulic systems, making them suitable for a wide range of industrial applications where high forces or pressures are involved.

Multiple Sizes and Configurations: Bosch Rexroth offers a variety of directional seat valves in different sizes and configurations, allowing engineers and system designers to select the right valve for their specific application.

Solenoid Actuation: Many directional seat valves are available with solenoid actuation, enabling remote and automated control of the valve through electrical signals. This is especially useful in applications where precise timing and coordination are required.

Manual Overrides: Some models feature manual override options, allowing operators to manually control the valve's position in case of electrical or hydraulic system failures.

Durability and Reliability: Bosch Rexroth valves are known for their durability and reliability, ensuring long service life in demanding industrial environments.

Application Versatility: These directional seat valves find applications in various industries, including manufacturing, agriculture, construction, and more, wherever hydraulic systems are used.

Bosch Rexroth Directional Seat Valves, direct operated with solenoid actuation (SED)

The Bosch Rexroth SED valve type is a direct operated directional seat valve with solenoid actuation. It controls start, stop and direction of flow. Directional seat valves connect or isolate the connections by lowering or raising a sealing element (poppet, ball). Isolation is leakage-free.
